Swiss Stem Cell Science (SSCS) markets our Swiss services and takes care of the patients. SSCS is also responsible for communicating the potential of stem cells and medicine and for participating in research projects at home and abroad.
Based on a simple principle: the younger we are, the stronger and more numerous our stem cells are and as get older we are more likely to be affected by diseases, the storage of our own stem cells from the umbilical cord represents a real opportunity to benefit in the future from cell therapies that are now under development.

With its laboratory exclusively based in Switzerland – laboratory which is the only autologous bank in Switzerland to benefit from FACT-Netcord accreditation – Swiss Stem Cell Science follows the processing of the blood and the tissue.
The clinical utility of these stem cells, in the treatment of many blood diseases (including some lymphomas, leukaemia and myelomas), is now demonstrated.
In order to offer families and medical professionals a comprehensive, high-quality and trustworthy service on the subject of stem cells, we have joined forces between the swiss specialized players to form a Swiss “Group of Stem Cell Specialists”.

The Foundation’s activities, carried out both at a national and international level, include in particular: research and development of technologies in the pre-clinical phase, consultancy through qualified professionals on new products, the study and development of new tools, medical devices, therapies and, in general, applied research projects, the supply of services in the analysis and research domains, the education of researchers and health operators in general, the promotion and organization of courses, conferences and other events, the dissemination among the public of relevant knowledge by any means that may prove useful to this purpose.
